At home relaxation with tennis balls
This will emulate a therapists cranio-sacral hands/hold under your occipital ridge/back of head/skull.
Take two tennis balls and put them in a tub sock.
Tie a knot at the end on the tub sock, close to the balls so the balls don’t move in the sock.
For 15-20 minutes a day, or as many time during the day you would like, typically easiest before you go to sleep at night, place the balls under your head where the occipital ridge, the hard bony edge of your skull, meets the softer part of your neck muscles…you’ll feel where it sits right.
