There will be a Grand Opening Weekend Celebration beginning Thursday June 23rd at 7pm ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äù at that time Vivian Taormina, massage therapist, will demonstrate Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (AOBT) ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äù ?¢‚Ǩ?ìthe deepest most luxurious massage on the planet.?¢‚Ǩ? Light food and drinks will be served as well as feet shaped sugar cookies.
?¢‚Ǩ?ìAs a long time resident of the Jersey Shore, I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m thrilled to offer such a unique luxurious massage in Long Branch. I am the only therapist in the area practicing AOBT.?¢‚Ǩ? AOBT is adapted from an ancient form of barefoot massage using deep compression gliding strokes over the body with the therapist’s feet. Bars are used over the head for balance and cream is used to glide over the body.

About Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy
AOBT combines the best elements of traditional Thai massage, barefoot Shiatsu from Japan and Keralite massage from southern India.
AOBT is highly suggested for:
chronic low back pain, sciatica, scoliosis, tight or painful hamstrings, tight or painful calves, chronic upper back pain and fibrosis. It is adapted from an ancient form of barefoot massage using deep compression gliding strokes over the body with the therapist’s feet. Gravitational force is combined with centrifugal and centripetal (transmitting nerve impulses toward the central nervous system) movements to bring about a structural change in chronic soft tissue damage. This application provides deep relaxation and stimulates the lymphatic system of the body. AOBT is performed with smooth, flowing, gliding deep foot pressure. Bars are used over the head for balance and cream is used to glide over the body.
