Massage Therapy to be TAXED!

NJ STATE TO PASS BILL IMPOSING SALES TAX ON MASSAGE THERAPY

The NJ State Budget and Appropriations committee has revised bill S2628–Modernization of sales and use tax (sponsored by Senator Bernard F. Kenny, Jr) to impose 6% sales tax on massage therapy, bodywork and somatic services. The only exemption to this would be if a client has a doctor’s prescription.
