Migraine relief

What did I do? What did I do wrong to come home at the end of the day with a screaming migraine, making it hard to drive/see. I eat healthy, exercise…All I wanted to do is close my eyes, I can’t think straight. The only cure is to shower off the painful chi, and sleep the painful migraine away to hopefully wake up the next day refreshed.

I thought I was getting a little sick so I decided to make myself some nice miso soup and eat some citrus…earlier that week…little did I know that those were likely triggers that did me in! Turns out that that salty miso soup and citrus grapefruit are two big NO NOs for migraine sufferers. I don’t think I suffer from migraines, but these to dietary triggers DID NOT HELP. Other good items to stay away from while under the brain pinch are: salt, citrus, dairy, chocolate, and caffeine.

I thought to make this post after recently speaking with clients who are looking for migraine relief.

Also helpful is DAILY back of the head and neck massage to keep circulation to the head. A topical option is the MyGraStick I carry in the office or some essential oil therapy blend of peppermint, lavender and menthol.
